Oxford Conservators’ Group

The Chantry Library is happy to host this page on behalf of the Oxford Conservators’ Group. We also hold the archive of the OCG in the library.

The Oxford Conservators’ Group (OCG) is an informal collective of multi-disciplinary conservators based in the Oxford area. Founded in 1974, we have approximately 100 members based not only in institutional conservation studios but also in private practice.

Throughout the year, members enjoy a varied programme of events including formal lectures, visits to studios, sites and archives, gallery talks and practical workshops, as well as updates of local news via the mailing list.

Membership

Membership is free, and available to all conservators based in and around Oxford. New ideas and new members are always welcome. Our main point of contact with members is through our mailing list which you can sign up to below.

If you have any news or events you would like us to distribute to the group please do get in touch via email.
